School managers are allowed to submit fitness by March 08
Budaun- District Magistrate Kumar Prashant made it clear to the departmental officers
and school managers in two words that no compromise would be made with the security
of school children. If the vehicle fitness is not deposited by March 8, then such vehicles of
the school will not be allowed to run under any condition. In case of a pathetic condition
van for transporting school children, if found running through LPG (LPG), it will not only
be seized, but also strict action will be implemented against the school managers.
The road safety committee meeting was held under the chairmanship of DM at
Atal Bihari Vajpayee Auditorium at Collectorate. The DM instructed that the auto stand
for traffic be built outside the city, the pit roads should be pit free. CCTV cameras should
also be installed at the parking stand of school vehicles.
The DM directed that some schools-
do not have a place to park the vehicles.They park the vehicle in a small place along the road,
causing inconvenience to the public and also affecting the traffic. The school manager should
make sure to have his own private parking stand. If the system is not ensured as per the
instructions and an accident happens, then the accountability of the school concerned will
be fixed, as well as the process of termination of recognition will be implemented.
